The Descendants of Tubal

It is reported that he is the ancestor of the Italians, the Spaniards and the Iberians of the Caucasus. The Iberians are the inhabitants of a region located between the Caspian Sea and the Euxine Sea, which almost corresponds to modern Georgia. Briefly, Georgia is a country located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and is the former Soviet republic with mountain villages in the Caucasus and beaches on the Black Sea.  

Today's Georgians are descended from the Iberians of the Caucasus. Nowadays, Georgians claim that they come from the nations of Tubal, Togarmah and Meshech. The area they occupied is now part of the Russian Empire, which fits well with their association with Rosh (Russia) and the Muscovites mentioned in Ezekiel 38. In the Bible, it is written that his descendants supplied slaves and brass to Tyre.

• Ezekiel 27:13 "Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your merchants. They exchanged slaves and bronze utensils for your merchandise."

• Ezekiel 32:26 "Meshech and Tubal are there with all their multitudes, with their graves all around them. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they spread their terror in the land of the living."

• Ezekiel 38:2-3 "Son of man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him. and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal."

• Ezekiel 39:1 "As for you, O son of man, prophesy against Gog and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal!"
