3. Jesus the Man
Jesus incarnated in Human Flesh
YAHWEH had previously spoken to the patriarchs and made it known through the prophets, His intention to visit the earth for a possible reconciliation between Him and mankind. For the fulfillment of His plan, He clothed His own Word in human flesh, and it entered the world by way of YESHUA, so that it (The Word) would not be something different from the rest of humankind.
Hebrews 2:17 "For this reason He had to be made like His brothers in every way, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people."
His Word wrapped itself in humility so that it could offer itself as a substitute sacrifice, atone for all our rebellion and enable us to see the glory of the Father without fear.
Philippians 2:6-7 "Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness."
In his human form, YESHUA revealed that he was THE AMEN of YAHWEH, i.e. the personification of absolute Truth. He often began his teachings with "Truly, truly, I say to you"; in so speaking, he was proclaiming his own authority, which rested on his complete self-dependence. Mosaic law required two or more witnesses to establish the Truth.
However, YESHUA was not alone, having emanated from the Father; He had the Father with Him. He attested that His Word, judgment and promises were true, authentic and trustworthy because they came from two witnesses: the Father and the very Word of the Father.
Revelations 3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation."
2 Corinthians 5:19 "that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ"
John 8:17-18 "Even in your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid. I am One who testifies about Myself, and the Father, who sent Me, also testifies about Me."
When we fully believe YESHUA's declarations, we attest that all of YAHWEH's words and promises are true. Consequently, if YESHUA has said that hell exists, but someone else preaches otherwise and you gullibly accept this as fact, you are unknowingly agreeing that God the Father is a liar.
Isaiah 45:23 "By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’"
John 18:37 “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”
The purpose of praying in Jesus' name is not an incantation for material blessings, but rather to allow us to approach the Father's throne in full identification with the Son, as if YESHUA Himself was making the request, and that His will and not ours be done, and so be it. And because YESHUA is THE AMEN, all prayers to YAHWEH must be said in the name of the Son (His Word).
2 Corinthians 1:20-21 "For all the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him, our “Amen” is spoken to the glory of God. Now it is God who establishes both us and you in Christ. He anointed us."
Why, then, did Jesus claim that the Father is greater than He
When YESHUA expressed His inferiority in the divine order, it was not because He is a Mini-God alongside YAHWEH, but rather because The Thought precedes The Word, so The Father is greater than The Son.
1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
John 14:28 "I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I."
In this same light, YESHUA also indicated that He depends on the Father, not because He's just a great prophet of God, but rather because The Thought dictates The Word and The Word always depends on The Thought. For this reason, only YAHWEH knows the doomsday, YESHUA (The Word) does not know it.
Mark 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
John 5:19 "So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does."
John 14:31 "qBut that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has commanded Me."
