God or Son of God

Jesus: God or Son of God?

God or Son of God

We pray to a God who is logical, but often those who attempt to establish the divinity of YESHUA fail to scrutinize the Scriptures and hide YAHWEH in a cloud of confusion and irrationality that leads many to not take God's Word seriously.

The Bible is a collection of several manuscripts with revelations from the Holy Spirit transmitted to the prophets. By divine inspiration, a few manuscripts have been compiled into a single book which teaches us the fundamentals we need to believe in God, know His Laws and obtain the salvation of our souls. The Bible is filled with symbolism and double meanings. The message is clear and straightforward but at the same time conceals a heavenly wisdom that cannot be grasped with a superficial understanding of words.

  • John 3:12 "If I have spoken to you about earthly things, and you do not believe, how will you believe, if I tell you about heavenly things"

To understand who YESHUA is and the role He plays in the fulfillment of YAHWEH's divine plan, it is crucial to think outside the palpable, visual and tangible framework. When you begin to perceive him as described in the Bible, that is, not just a human being but "The Word", you will notice that the ambiguousness about him disappears and the intrinsic union between YAHWEH and YESHUA will be made more evident every time you read verses about him. But to help you understand this relationship, we will contextualize several verses.

Let's start with the words etymology...

The term "Word" is derived from the Greek word "logos" which refers to reason or thought and from which we get the word "logic". "Logos" is the suffix of words such as biology, psychology, apology, ideology, etc; and it conveys knowledge, wisdom, reason, and revelation.

If every written or spoken word is an expression of the thought that preceded the utterance, ask yourself the following questions first:

  • Can we voice our opinions and feelings without associating our thoughts to them?

  • When we speak or say things to express our ideas, the words that we uttered are they separated from our thoughts?

Now try this mental exercise, don't think about anything at all and try to talk. What do you notice? Without any thoughts it is impossible to talk because the speech is intrinsically linked to the thought.

In John 1:14, the apostle John says: "The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

In this verse, John helps us understand that The Word of the Almighty was incarnated in human flesh and entered into Creation, so that we could see the expression of the heart, the mind, the reason, the logic, and the will of ELOHIM. And The Word came to us in the most complete, clear and convincing way: YESHUA. In Him was The Word that had always existed with YAHWEH in eternity.

  • Revelation 19:13 "and he was clothed in a garment dyed with blood. His name is the Word of God.

► RUACH, Holy Spirit is the presence of the Father which makes it a reality.

► YAHWEH, The Father is the thinking head.

►YESHUA, The Son is the Word of the Father made flesh

Thus we speak of the trinity: That is to say the Existence, the Thought and the Word. Note that the act of existing, thinking and speaking are three indivisible realities also in the human being, for anyone who exists will inevitably have thoughts which he will be able to express either by means of his speech or by other means. But he who can express himself by means of speech can only do so in association with his thoughts.

Notice that just like ELOHIM (The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit), the number 3 is also an immutable part of creation.

  • The 3 acts of existence: birth, life, death

  • The essence of the human being: body, spirit and soul.

  • The water that originates from the Father can only take 3 forms: liquid, solid, or gas.

  • The only 3 places suitable for the habitation of all that has been created: The sky above, the earth, and the sea below

  • All solids are made up of atoms that are entirely composed of 3 particles: the proton, the neutron and the electron. These particles can only carry 3 types of charges: positive charges (protons), negative charges (electrons) and neutral charges (neutrons).

YAHWEH had previously spoken to the patriarchs and made known through the prophets His intention to visit the earth for an eventual reconciliation between Him and humanity. For the fulfillment of His purpose, He clothed His own Word in human flesh, and it entered the world in the person of YESHUA. That same Word that had ordained and brought forth Creation was made into a human flesh, walked on earth, dwelt among men, and spoke to mankind in the form of YESHUA. This was to enable us to see the character, attributes, and love of YAHWEH. To this effect, several times the Bible mentions the mystery of the divine association through which YAHWEH created all things through YESHUA (His Word).

  • Ephesians 3: 9 "And to show all men what is the association of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ."

  • Colossians 1: 15-17 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him were created all things that are in the heavens and in the earth, the visible and the invisible, thrones, dignities, dominions, authorities. Everything was created by him and for him. He is before all things, and all things subsist in him. "

  • 1 Corinthians 8: 6 "Nevertheless for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom come all things and for whom we are, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and by who we are."

  • Jeans. 1: 9 "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not."

  • Hebrews. 1: 2-4 "God in these latter days has spoken to us through the Son, whom he made heir of all things, by whom he also created the world, and who, being the reflection of his glory and the 'imprint of his person, and upholding all things with his mighty word, made the purification of sins and sat at the right hand of divine majesty in the very high places, became so much superior to the angels as he inherited of a more excellent name than theirs."

It's quite evident that by his infinite power YAHWEH can at his will materialize constituents of His Being. But they remain intricately linked to Him, in the same way that you are intricately linked to your thoughts which are also intricately linked to your speech / word.

If YESHUA was The Word by which all things came into existence, we would expect to see some parallelism between what happened at creation and his works during his ministry on earth. What do we observe? YESHUA raised the dead, cast out demons and healed the sick. He did these miracles in the way we would expect Him to do them: by His authoritative Word.

  • John 11: 43-44 "And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a resounding voice: Lazarus, come out. And he who was dead went out ..."

  • Matthew 8:16 'When evening was come, many people were brought to him who were possessed by devils: and he cast out spirits by his word… "

  • Luke 4:32 "They were astonished at his doctrine; for he spoke with authority"

  • Matthew 8: 26-27 "He said to them," Why are you afraid, you people of little faith? Then he arose, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great stillness. These men were amazed. : What is this, they said, to whom even the winds and the sea obey? "

  • Mark 5: 41-42 "He took her by the hand, and said to her, Talitha koumi, which means, Young girl, arise, I say to you. Immediately the girl rose up, and began to walk; because she was twelve years old. "

  • Mark 9: 25-27 "Jesus, seeing the multitude coming up, rebuked the unclean spirit, and said unto him, Dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of this child, and enter no more. And he went out. , screaming, and shaking it with great violence."

You will notice in Isaiah's prophecy that when The Lord and the Lord of hosts speaks, neither the plural nor the pronoun "WE" is used. This is to indicate that the Lord and the Lord of hosts is singular: They are One.

  • Isaiah 44: 6 "Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first and I am the last, and besides me there is no God."

When YESHUA expressed His inferiority in the divine order, it was not because He is a mini-God alongside YAHWEH, but rather because The Thought always precedes The Word, thus The Father is greater than the Son.

  • 1 Corinthians 11: 3 "Yet I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of woman, and that God is the head of Christ."

  • John 14:28 "I go to the Father: for the Father is greater than I."

In this same perspective, YESHUA also pointed out that He depends on the Father, not because He is just a great prophet of God, but rather because the Thought dictates the Word (Speech) and the Word is always dependent on the Thought. For this reason, only YAHWEH knows the Last Day, YESHUA (The Word) does not know it.

  • Mark 13:32 "As to the day or the hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."

  • John 5:19 “Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, he does nothing but what he sees the Father doing; and whatever the Father does, the Son also does likewise.

  • John 14:31 "let the world know that I love the Father, and that I do according to the command which the Father has given me"

It is YESHUA (The Word) who will judge us all. By the incarnation of YESHUA, YAHWEH has empowered HIS WORD to exist by itself, and to speak as its own authority.

  • John 5: 26-27 "The Father has life in himself; so he gave the Son to have life in himself; and he gave him authority to execute judgment also because he is the Son of man. "

  • John 5: 21-22 As the Father raises the dead and gives them life; precisely the Son gives life to whomever he wills, for the Father judges no man, but he has given all judgment to the Son, so that all men may honor the Son, as they honor the Father.

  • Matthew 28:18 "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth."

  • John 18:37 "Jesus answered, You say it, I am a king. I was born and I came into the world to bear witness to the truth."

  • Isaiah 45:23 "I swear it by myself, truth comes out of my mouth, and my word will not be revoked: Every knee shall bow before me, Every tongue shall swear by me.

The Word is in YAHWEH, It comes from Him, It is God and It has the authority to judge men.

  • John 1: 1 "In the beginning was the Word (logos), and the Word (logos) was with God, and the Word (logos) was God."

To take away YESHUA's divinity is to bring The Word of YAHWEH down to nothing. To doubt YESHUA is to doubt The Word of God. To reject YESHUA is to reject The Word of God. To mock YESHUA is to mock The Word of God.

May the Holy Spirit guide you in understanding this message.
